Yes, my first post of 2010. Been slacking a bit on the food front. Had a fun new years dinner/party with friends in the Hague. And being the great food blogger that I am, I didn’t make pics. D’OH! We have roasted duck with pancakes, hoi sin sauce, cucumber and spring onion, steamed rice, chukawakame salad, stir fried kai lan with garlic/soy/oyster sauce, Chinese roasted pork, sate and cheese cake. NOMNOMNOM!
So let’s not let this post go without a photo. Our regular Chinese restaurant reopened and it appears they have a couple of new dishes.
This one is a new favorite already. Chinese pancake with spring onion and chinese sausage. I’m not a huge fan of the sausage (err.. yeah), but there wasn’t a lot in there (..) so it was great. Slightly crispy and oniony, yum. Will try to make these myself some day, but right now I can’t be bothered.
Will have some new posts coming soon. Including a new made up awesome sesame beef dish.
